Geinectar is one of the company’s most important operating divisions, its roots lying in the original essence extraction activities of the Group. This Division targets:
• food companies, for which it produces high concentrate flavours (using processed chemical synthesis products) for the confectionary, animal food and gastronomy sectors;
• beverage companies, for which it produces distilled products, tinctures, infusions and extracts (using medicinal herbs and plants) to create flavours for liquors, soft drinks and carbonated waters.
Geinectar's success lies in the supply of flavours for use in international leading consumer products, and the specialist production of some flavours used in typical Italian products, such as panettone, vermouth and panforte.
